Emotional security is the protection against emotional problems, such as sadness or depression. In order to be able to defend against such unpleasant situations, you first need to get to understand them. Depression is a disorder of the affective state that leads to feelings of sadness or lost hope for a longer time. As it is more dangerous than just a simple act of sadness or a temporary energy loss, depression can have a powerful impact against the joy of life, the ability to work, the general health state and the close friends or family members.

Depression goes in a different way for each person. Some people feel down for a long period of time, while for others, the depression feelings come and go. In case a person goes through short periods of depression, there is the ability to go on with professional life and face the daily activities. However, if the person in cause doesn't stick to a way or another of treatment for depression, there is a chance to get to the inability to communicate and in the worst cases, to self hurting and even suicide. Therefore, getting to see a specialist is essential.

Emotional security is a mined field. If some people have the power to fight against this disorder, some other may believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness, therefore they try to solve their problems themselves. In these days, it is well known that depression, just like other medical affection, has a biological and chemical base. The treatment for depression is simple and can be applied to those with a severe form as well.

Unlike the spring depression, which comes as a result of lack of vitamins, the autumn one can become very exhausting, especially after the thoughts of passing the winter. In a friendly definition, it can be said that depression is a negative mentality, dominated by sadness and discouragement feelings and chronic tiredness.

Specialists say that the autumn depression is a temporary disorder and anyone can go through a nostalgia mood at change of seasons. If you go through such a mood, you feel the move in an emphatic way. Once the cold season steps in, the existential rhythm of those affected seems to slow down. The happy and full of energy persons can become apathetic, without any moods and initiative. Things that once seemed normal and easy to do become difficult and complicated. For example, going out with friends or dealing with a hard day at work.

The energy loss doesn't come alone, but with a state of discomfort and self credit. Specialists wars the people about the fact that seasonal depression will lead to concentration difficulties, attention drainage and sometimes to memory disorders. As a consequence, the energy loss can induce the need of extra sleep, incapacity to deal with a daily schedule and a deep feeling of guilt.

Emotional security is definitely part of everyone's life and although you might believe it is just something mental, it needs just as serious medication as any other disorders.
